Responsibilities

Because we are local and independent, we will keep our team lean, and everyone will have to wear multiple hats. You will gain experience with front and back of house operations. Most of our staff will begin part-time; as the business grows, we will be able to offer more full-time positions. A solid work ethic will be rewarded!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Welcome each guest and adapt to their needs
  • Represent our brand
  • Answer phone calls
  • Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis
  • Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with repeat customers – learn their tastes and curate appropriate products
  • Accurately enter, process and storing guest identification and other documentation to maintain organized records of guest interactions
  • Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for guests
  • Following all relevant compliance guidelines
  • Input orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collect money from guests for products purchased, make appropriate change, and maintain an accurate till
  • Assist with nightly inventory counts of all dispensary products
  • Help with opening and closing of the dispensary
  • Ensure that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized
  • Assist with packaging, stocking, and organizing products and displays, updating menus and signage
  • Know the SOP
  • Participate in staff meetings, events, evaluations, and professional development
  • Always be learning about cannabis

Should be able to post information via our corporate social media accounts.

Qualifications

  • Age 21+
  • Prior experience with cannabis is a plus
  • Prior experience in food service or retail is a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to learn product information, pricing etc.
  • Ability to focus, attention to detail
  • Timeliness and professional appearance
  • Cell phone and reliable transporation
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Covid vaccination
